Consultation Meeting. Conceptual Design Agreement.
First step we take is to arrange an
initial consultation at your home. We will assess your current living situation,
your needs and your budget. We will ask many specific questions to determine
your goals for the remodeling project and to better understand your vision for
the new living space. We'll try to find out as much as possible about your
tastes and sense of style. With this information in hand, we will present you
tree different 3D (just computer version) Conceptual Design with a 3 levels
(economy, standard and premium), Preliminary Estimate with a Materials
Allowances for the project within 10 working days. The Conceptual Design cost
$550- $ 1,500 (depending on the size of the project)
and will be included in contract after signing Contractor Agreement
* Conceptual design, is option
for the customers and it's not necessary for the small or middle size of
projects.
2. Design-Build Agreement
Should you decide to
go forward with SOKOL Design-Build Group LLC, after presentation 3 versions of
Conceptual Design and Preliminary Estimate, you will sign a Design-Build
Agreement (will cost 5%-7% from Preliminary Estimate cost,
depending on the size of the project)
and our architect and designer will go to work on detailed designs, construction
drawings for building permit and material selections for your project. You will
also receive a budget that corresponds to the materials your selected with our
help. This is a key advantage of the design-to-build approach to remodeling: You
get a comprehensive, integrated package of services from start to finish. You
benefit from having one party be responsible for designing and carrying out
construction of the remodeling project within established budget. And best of
all - is that you will make final decisions as to the design and materials to be
used. This flexible approach to design and construction will leave you satisfied
because you will understand completely what you will get and how much it will
cost.
3. Construction Agreement
Once you approve the final design
and budget, you will sign a construction agreement. We will schedule the project
according to the agreed-to time frame. During construction, our project manager
will take over day-to-day operation of the remodeling process while always
keeping you up-to-date on the progress. We will insure that your are completely
satisfied with every stage of the construction process and the final finish. You
will then receive a 10 year warranty on the structural work and 1 year warranty
on all finish. Congratulations, you now have a more favorite place in your home,
or complicit different your house, and you can't wait to show it off!
