1. Consultation Meeting
First step we take is arranging an initial consultation at your home. We will
assess your current living situation, assess your needs and your budget. We will
ask many specific questions to determine your goals for the remodeling project
and to better understand your vision for the new living space. We'll try to find
out as much as possible about your tastes and sense of style. With this
information in hand we will present you with a preliminary estimate for the
project within 1-2 days.
2. Design Agreement
Should you decide to go forward with SOKOL Design-Build Group LLC, you'll sign a
design agreement and our architect and designer will go to work on detailed
conceptual designs and material selections for your project. You will also
receive a budget that corresponds to the materials your selected with our help.
This is a key advantage of the design-to-build approach to remodeling: You get a
comprehensive, integrated package of services from start to finish. You benefit
from having one party be responsible for designing and carrying out construction
of the remodeling project within established budget. And best of all - is that
you will make final decisions as to the design and materials to be used. This
flexible approach to design and construction will leave you satisfied because
you will understand completely what you will get and how much it will cost.
3. Construction Agreement
Once you approve the final design and budget, you will sign a construction
agreement. We will schedule the project according to the agreed-to time frame.
During construction, our project manager will take over day-to-day operation of
the remodeling process while always keeping you up-to-date on the progress. We
will insure that your are completely satisfied with every stage of the
construction process and the final finish. You will then receive a 5 year
warranty on the construction work and 1 year warranty on finish.
